How much time they spend with them?


According to new research in Britain shown on BBC, children between ages 5-16 years, spending an average of 6 1/2 hours a day in front of tv, video games console, mobile phone, computer or tablet. The teenage boys are first in the list with 8 hours a day in front of the screen, while last in the list are girls 8 years old with 3 1/2 hours. The survey reports that in 1995 the average was 3 hours. The main source of information and entertainment though was the television and magazines. Now everything has been transferred to digital formats by increasing time in front of a screen. The companies have also realized this change and trying to respond to this new market, with applications exclusively for kids, like the Vine Kids, kids YouTube and others. Do you think that these percentages correspond and in your country?
