According to reportage of Deadlines, the Sony Pictures clinched agreement on the transfer of the Metal Gear Solid franchise to the big screen. The movie will sign the author Jay Basu, directing the Jordan Vogt-Roberts, and Michael De Luca will undertake the production and so far these are the only information that we know.

There is no mention on the mixing of Hideo Kojima in this movement, makes sense after what happened and very probably the Konami to sold the movie rights to Sony Pictures.
